Job description

What youll do :

Budgets, Forecasts & Financial Models :

• Develop and manage the annual budgets and forecasts for the group, working closely with leadership to ensure financial goals are met.
• Create financial models to support scenario planning and business strategies, providing insights to drive informed decision-making.

Month-End & Management Accounts :

Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial packs, delivering variance analysis and actionable insights.

Perform in-depth reviews to ensure accurate reporting and provide recommendations for cost savings and profit maximisation.

Drive improvements in financial reporting, ensuring all processes are efficient and effective.

Stock & Asset Management :

Ensure accurate stock provisions and addressing any discrepancies.

Ensure fixed asset management is up-to-date, including asset depreciation and movement.

Systems & IT Projects :

Lead the ZAP BI project to automate management packs and streamline financial reporting, improving efficiency.

Oversee Finance IT projects and ensure financial systems are optimised for maximum impact.

Supportive Leadership & Collaboration :

Collaborate closely with the Financial Director to execute strategies, and bring fresh ideas to the table for financial growth and efficiency.

Provide valuable insights to senior leadership to guide key decisions, while maintaining a supportive and actionable financial partnership.

Lead by example, driving the implementation of strategies with a focus on business growth and sustainable change.

What we need from you :

5+ years of experience in corporate finance, with a strong focus on financial strategy execution and business partnership.

An entrepreneurial mindset thats focused on delivering results and shaping financial processes.

Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Syspro is a plus).

Hands-on experience with data-driven solutions like ZAP BI and a solid understanding of IT systems for finance reporting.

Strong communication skills to effectively partner with leadership and drive strategic decisions.

A results-driven approach with the ability to implement financial strategies that fuel business success.
