Job summary

Farm Manager SA invites an experienced financial manager to oversee accounting functions, management reporting, and budgeting in a fast-paced farm setting. You will handle monthly closings, cash-flow projections, VAT compliance, payroll, and interdepartmental collaboration with operations to safeguard financial health.

Proficiency with Pastel or similar software, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years' relevant accounting/financial management experience.
• Experience with full accounting functions and management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as Pastel, Sage or similar.
• Good understanding of VAT, PAYE and SARS requirements.
• Strong understanding of cash-flow management and budgeting.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Agricultural or farming environment.
• Fresh produce or flower industry.
