Job Title: Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist – Luxury Lodge & Hotel Group | Bryanston, Johannesburg

Salary:

R30,000 – R35,000 (Negotiable, Depending on Experience)

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist for a prestigious luxury lodge and hotel group based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Role Overview:

This position is ideal for a dynamic, organized individual with experience in hospitality or travel and a strong understanding of financial and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial & Administrative Support:
    • Assist with financial tasks such as tax payments, financial statements, and client accounts management.
    • Provide bookkeeping support to the finance team.
    • Prepare financial and administrative reports.
    • Manage sales, marketing, and financial databases and reports.
    • Maintain records for projects as required by the CEO.
  2. Executive Assistance:
    • Support the CEO and senior management with administrative tasks.
    • Manage travel bookings and accommodations for executives.
    • Handle expense reports and document formatting.
  3. Business Intelligence & Reporting:
    • Assist in developing and maintaining business intelligence systems.
    • Gather and analyze information for strategic decisions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business operations.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric qualification; tertiary education in finance, business, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • 2–3 years' experience in the hospitality industry.
  • 3+ years' experience in financial or management accounting.
  • Strong understanding of administrative and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid RSA ID.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Pastel, ACCPAC, or Sage.
  • Familiarity with CRM and hospitality reservation/PMS systems is beneficial.
