The Financial Director is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the company meets its financial objectives. The Financial Director will manage the finance team, develop financial policies, and provide insights to support decision-making at the executive level.

Requirements:
  • Job Purpose: The Financial Director is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the company meets its financial objectives. The Financial Director will manage the finance team, develop financial policies, and provide insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
  • CA(SA)
  • Minimum 5 years post articles experience in finance and operations management
  • 3-5 years Strategic experience (Proven experience in Strategic planning and execution)
  • Senior management level experience (CFO)
  • Proven track record with Debtors Management, internal controls and stock management
  • Experience within the Retail or Manufacturing or Industrial industries
  • Catering / Kitchen equipment industry knowledge (beneficial)
  • Proven track record of success and strong leadership capabilities
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proven track record in implementing and improving operational and financial controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, accounting principles, practices, standard laws, and regulations, solid understanding of statutory requirements, e.g. VAT, imports, exports
  • Deferred Tax knowledge
Skills Required:
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
  • Proficient in IFRS and tax
