Financial Director

Help us accelerate South Africa's transition to renewable energy and end load-shedding! We're looking for a Financial Director to join our senior management team at our JHB office.

The Financial Director is responsible for:

1. Project liaison with our banking partners
2. Reporting requirements to our shareholders and funders
3. Cash flow forecasting requirements for our development spend

We have three distinct units within the company, and all three units have their own budget and targets to hit. You'll oversee cash-at-hand management to cover all development expenses on a rolling one-year basis.

You'll manage our capital optimisation, ensuring it's always being put to work in more project development. In addition, you'll be responsible for all the basic finance management functions of running a company, like payroll, annual accounting, etc.

Successful candidates will have experience in:

1. Development spend
2. Dealing with banks
3. Managing larger project finance elements (R- million per project)
4. Producing cash flow forecasts for R2-10 million projects
5. Controlling oversight of multiple projects and development in different Provinces across South Africa

Experience in energy or infrastructure projects is advantageous. We're open to candidates currently in Financial Controller roles who are ready to step up to the next stage in their career.
