Job description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a strong partnership with the MD and board to ensure the delivery of business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with the Executive & Senior Management team on:
  • Setting strategic direction aligned with the company's vision and business plan.
  • Making decisions on strategic issues facing the company.
  • Reviewing and adapting the company's strategy to changing business conditions.
  • Defining core business processes to achieve company objectives.
  • Implementing finance strategic objectives across the organization.
  • Attend and actively participate in Board Meetings.
  • Manage Client Relationships and Operations, serving as the key contact for significant clients at national and regional levels.
  • Support portfolio leads with strategic plans for growth and profitability.
  • Prepare and present monthly Revenue trackers and support MD with negotiations and rate adjustments.
  • Monitor revenue growth targets, lead profitability meetings, and ensure timely action on profitability initiatives.
  • Work with MD and client service teams to report, chase, and convert revenue opportunities.
  • Drive commercial pro-activeness, cost-saving initiatives, and streamline operations.
  • Prepare agency and client rate cards.
  • Manage working capital and collaborate on salary growth, B-BBEE targets, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Negotiate and manage client scopes, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review financial reports, management accounts, and maintain reporting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, sign-offs, and compliance monitoring.
