Financial Data Analyst

Location: Jersey, Head Office

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Financial Data Analystto join a global Investment firm based in Jersey This role is ideal for an experienced accountant looking for new challenges. You’ll have the chance to grow, drive improvements, and work with a forward-thinking team in a fast-paced, international environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Core Skills & Experience

• Background in financial services or asset management (e.g. banking, hedge funds, private equity).
• Strong Excel skills (modelling and analysis).
• Familiarity with finance systems (e.g. SAP).
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; other standards like US GAAP are a bonus.
• Bonus skills: Power BI, Python, SQL, or coding experience.

Preferred Traits

• Tech-savvy and process improvement focused.
• Clear communicator, comfortable sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Eager to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. Jersey FSB, UK FCA) is helpful.
