Financial Controller (R560 000 - R660 000)

They are seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Financial Manager with strong cluster experience to lead the full financial function across a portfolio of high-performing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full financial management function for a cluster of luxury hotels and resorts
• Lead a team of 5–6 finance professionals, fostering development, accountability, and high performance
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies and controls
• Perform financial analysis and provide strategic insights to hotel and regional leadership
• Manage internal and external audits, tax compliance, and risk mitigation
• Collaborate closely with General Managers and Heads of Department to drive profitability
• Implement and maintain financial systems, procedures, and reporting standards
• Understanding day-to-day Hotel operations
• Work cross-functionally with operations to align financial strategies with business objectives

Skills and Qualifications:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5–7 years in financial management, with cluster experience in hospitality (local / international hotels)
• Proven ability to manage teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management
• Excellent understanding of international hotel standards and global compliance practices
• Proficient in financial systems such SAP / Oracle, or similar
