Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a capable Accountant to prepare and review monthly management accounts and oversee financial reconciliations from Randburg. You will ensure VAT compliance, support audit activities, and contribute to cash flow management while upholding strict financial controls and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting and reporting experience.
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliations experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Review Income Statement and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and controls.
• Manage VAT reconciliations, submissions and payments.
• Oversee the fixed asset register and related reconciliations.
• Manage annual audit requirements and liaise with external auditors.
• Support cash flow management and treasury-related activities.
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members.
