Financial Reporting, Compliance, Auditing and Analysis.
- Evaluate financial performance against budgets and historical data.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
- Identify and document all transactions and relationships with related parties, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Gather financial data, including invoices, receipts, and contracts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Financial Operations, Systems, and Control.
- Oversee financial transactions to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Assist with the design and implementation of internal controls.
- Drive process improvements and support financial systems (ERP, accounting software).
- Determine what transactions occurs in a division (Document all transactions).
- Perform detailed system description of each transaction in order of priority.
- Perform a walk- through test in accordance with a prioritised process.
- Report and address non-adherence to processes.
- Pro-actively recommend any improvements to the management of a relevant division.
- Provide system information.
- Perform system reconciliations.
- Perform financial analysis.
Business intelligence report development and implementation.
- Integrate and consolidate the collected data into a centralised data warehouse or business intelligence platform, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Analyse the integrated data using statistical and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business operations and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand the requirements and objectives for the business intelligence reports.
- Design and develop customised business intelligence reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of stakeholders.
- Implement and deploy the developed business intelligence reports and dashboards within the organisation's business intelligence platform or reporting tool.
- Monitor the performance and usage of the implemented business intelligence reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
