Financial Controller

Our Client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team.

The Financial Controller will be required to drive financial excellence, ensure compliance, and enhance our reporting and automation capabilities.

Requirements:

1. BCom in Accounting with completed articles
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Tax laws
3. Experience in financial reporting, CaseWare, and dashboard platforms, AI applications
4. Ability to lead projects and work independently
5. Passion for technology, automation, and process improvement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead ad hoc financial projects from start to finish, including, but not limited to:
2. the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) on CaseWare
3. Spearhead the migration to enhanced reporting and dashboard platforms
4. Oversee asset management across the group
5. Maintain statutory and secretarial records to ensure compliance
6. Provide technical advice and research on IFRS and Tax legislation
7. Research and implement technology-driven automation to streamline and improve financial processes
