As a Financial Coach, you will guide clients to improve their financial well-being through one-on-one coaching, practical financial education, and support in setting and reaching their goals. The role includes handling inbound and outbound calls, managing case documentation, and tracking client progress through tailored action plans.
Handle inbound client calls and outbound campaigns
Book appointments for financial coaching
Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients
Maintain accurate documentation and case records
Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, credit improvement, and savings
Assess client financial situations and create customised action plans
Refer clients to appropriate partners for financial planning and services
Track client progress and provide motivation and feedback
Stay informed on financial regulations and coaching methods
Understand and apply relevant legislation, including the National Credit Act and Consumer Protection Act
2–3 years of experience in financial coaching, debt review, or personal finance advisory
Debt counselling certification (mandatory)
Strong understanding of budgeting, credit scores, debt management tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic, non-judgmental, and patient
Goal-oriented and able to inspire accountability
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
