COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a stainless steel manufacturer based in Centurion and they are looking for a Financial Clerk to join their team as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Debtors:

  • Capturing invoices on NCAL
  • Email invoices to customers
  • Follow up on queries (outstanding payments)
  • Turnover stats
  • Credit stats
  • Profit and loss stats (NCAL)
  • Declaration (credit guarantee)
  • Customer insurance (credit guarantee)
  • Filing
  • Debit notes
  • Credit notes
  • Statements
  • Booking in payments and allocating of payment on Navision
  • C1 certificates
  • Changing prices on Navision
  • Creating & updating customer cards on Navision

Creditors:

  • All raw material suppliers
  • Intercompany
  • Processing invoices onto Navision
  • Processing credits onto Navision
  • Recons for payment due and allocating payments on Navision
  • Filing
  • Balancing intercompany (sales and purchases)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Relevant financial related tertiary education will be beneficial

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment will be an added bonus
  • Computer literate (Navision experience)
  • Abel to read and write in English
  • Must be a good team player
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be assertive
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, without direct supervision
