Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly Bank Processing: Accurately process and reconcile all bank transactions weekly. Provide forex exchange control supporting documents to banks as requested.
- Weekly Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing: Manage incoming and outgoing payments; maintain updated records of invoices and vendor payments; capture data onto ERM reporting software.
- Daily Customer Invoices: Generate and process customer invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Revenue Recognition Setup for SaaS: Assist in setting up and maintaining revenue recognition processes tailored to SaaS, using subscription revenue software.
- Customer Success Support: Collaborate with Customer Success team to set up projects, handle vendor applications, and support various accounting system setups.
- Monthly Revenue Recognition: Conduct monthly revenue recognition tasks, ensuring proper recording.
- Weekly Creditor Reconciliations: Reconcile creditor accounts and prepare payment instructions.
- Monthly Debtor Reconciliations: Reconcile debtor accounts and generate customer statements.
- Daily Support: Provide support to customers and internal teams regarding invoicing, payments, and financial queries.
- Month-End Accounting and Journals: Complete month-end tasks, including journal entries and ledger finalization.
- Group Accounting: Record charges related to Group entities, including subsidiaries.
- Forex and International Transactions: Record transactions in various currencies, including forex effects.
- Audit and Financial Statements: Assist in providing information for annual audits and financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification such as BCom or equivalent with strong accounting foundation.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles, or relevant work experience.
- At least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or software sector.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and quick adaptability to new technology.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Tech-savvy with a passion for streamlining processes using emerging technologies.
- Team player with attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Values personal growth, learning, and taking on new challenges.
Reporting Line: ERM Libryo Business Manager or other designated ERM Libryo employee.
