Cold Storage / Distribution company based in Midrand, has an exciting opportunity for a hands-on operational Financial and Compliance Manager to join their team. Report directly to the COO and be responsible for providing financial and legal advice to Senior Management as well as ensuring compliance to applicable laws and legislation.
POSITION INFO :
A completed B.Com (Accounting) / B.Com (Law) as well as a CIMA qualification is desired, coupled with 5+ years of Financial Management experience within the Distribution / Cold Chain sector. 5 years experience as a Financial Manager is essential, as well as exposure to MS Dynamics, which is highly advantageous. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:
Financial Management and Reporting :
Validate actual versus budget variance reports with full details of variances. Prepare actual versus weekly reports and explanations for variances. Conduct forecasting and planning for the facility. Oversee stock integrity and review stock reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Prepare detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts. Oversee correct allocation of all costs for the business.
