Financial Analyst

Qualification

• Qualified CA(SA) / CIMA

Requirements

• Recently qualified CA(SA) / CIMA with 2 years post Articles experience preferably within manufacturing industry
• Familiar with accounting systems such as Sage and Power BI
• Advanced Excel skills essential

Duties

• Build and manage financial models for strategic decision-making
• Conduct scenario planning and investment analysis
• Provide the CEO with actionable insights and reports
• Ensure payroll processing and statutory compliance
• Coordinate with line managers and payroll service providers
• Maintain accurate records for salaries, bonuses, and leave provisions
• Assist the Financial Manager with monthly board reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Support group-wide cash flow and working capital analysis
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for internal stakeholders
• Assist acquisition companies with the setup or enhancement of financial systems
• Support finance teams in acquired entities with reporting, processes, and controls
• Help align acquired businesses to company's financial practices and standards
• Contribute to finance projects, including automation and digital tools
• Assist with refining financial controls and enhancing efficiency across the group
