Introduction

To provide investment support to Post Investment Associates by analysing deals and ensuring that the financial models are appropriate to facilitate seamless revenue collection.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive financial analysis using approved financial modelling for existing portfolio companies.
  2. Analyse, compile, and report on market information on a deal-by-deal basis.
  3. Contribute to the development of business development strategies for portfolio companies.
  4. Develop broad knowledge of corporate finance, private equity macro environment, sector, and specific transactions to support the team in identifying and recommending mitigation measures on key risk issues.
  5. Participate in due diligence exercises for additional funding or restructuring, using approved processes.
  6. Provide commentary on innovative, optimum, and appropriate finance and legal structures for each investment deal to ensure long-term sustainability and viability.
  7. Analyse financial information such as company results, profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess commercial viability.
  8. Consider economic implications affecting portfolio company performance.
  9. Analyse equity valuations of portfolio companies semi-annually.
  10. Conduct annual site visits to investee companies.
  11. Early identification and flagging of potential defaulting clients.
Qualification Requirements

Graduate degree in Business and Finance, Accounting, or related field, minimum B.

Experience / Skills Required
  • A generalist in corporate finance with some private equity experience.
  • Proficiency in PC literacy, especially Excel, for financial modelling and projections.
  • Strong project management and corporate finance and/or venture capital experience (minimum 5 years).
  • 2-5 years of financial analysis experience.
