Role Purpose
Financial Advisor who are committed, driven, results-oriented advisers capable of working independently as well as in a team environment, writing business in accordance with targets set by the client. Financial Advisors primarily advise on motor and household domestic insurance through face-to-face sales.
Compensation
Basic R 20,000.00 plus commission, pension, incentives, and 13th cheque.
Experience and Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12
- FAIS Credits (120)
- FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
- 12 CPD points (continuous professional development)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in selling short-term insurance, either as a broker agent or tied agent
- Call center agents are not preferred unless they have at least 5 years of experience
- All required regulatory exams and accreditation
- Proof of minimum R10,000.00 monthly commission earnings for at least one year
- Own transport (car) and valid license
Responsibilities and Work Outputs
- Generate sufficient leads to ensure at least 10 client quotes per week and 40 per month
- Minimum of 8.5 policies written per month
- Maintain and update Lead Generation Matrix weekly
- Contact clients promptly after a quote request to conduct needs analysis and provide professional advice
- Sign up a minimum of 5 active lead referral agents
- Complete weekly reports on leads, quotes, sales, premiums, and other relevant data
- Stay informed on product comparisons and updates from the client
- Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines
- Maintain current knowledge and skills to provide expert advice
- Adhere to professional dress code and appearance standards
