Job description

Role Purpose

Attract, acquire, and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business and provide after-sales service to ensure client retention, increase market share, and contribute to overall business objectives and long-term viability.

Requirements

  1. 2 - 3 years experience in a Sales/Call Centre environment (essential)
  2. 2 years’ experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry rendering financial advice (advantageous)
  3. Matric or equivalent NQF 4 qualification
  4. National Senior Certificate in Finance/Business Management or equivalent relevant qualification
  5. FAIS Compliance Requirements
  6. Regulatory examination (RE) 5
  7. Driver’s license and own transport (desirable)

Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Process

  1. Engage with prospective clients to highlight features and benefits of products based on their financial wellness needs, supporting their decision-making process.
  2. Sell products aligned with clients’ financial needs by conducting affordability analysis to achieve their financial goals.
  3. Calculate and advise on tax and legal implications of products or changes.
  4. Accurately capture client information, relevant actions, and sales on the systems.
  5. Complete all administrative and reporting requirements within agreed timeframes.
  6. Achieve set targets on production, quality, and conversion.
  7. Adhere to compliance requirements in the sales process in line with legislative requirements.
  8. Provide financial advice in line with the engagement strategy to enhance clients’ financial wellness.

Client

  1. Investigate client queries within the agreed service level and ensure timely feedback.
  2. Escalate client queries to relevant departments or stakeholders.
  3. Provide accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders to ensure appropriate services.
  4. Provide regular reports on service delivery against agreed service level agreements and customer targets.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients.
  7. Participate in a culture of rewarding relationships, feedback, and exceptional service.
  8. Proactively build and maintain client relationships through professional and credible financial advisory services.

People

  1. Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers and stakeholders.
