Role Purpose
Attract, acquire, and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business and providing after-sales service to ensure client retention. This contributes to increasing market share and supporting the overall business objectives and long-term viability.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a Sales or Call Centre environment (essential)
- 2 years’ experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry providing financial advice (advantageous)
- Matric or equivalent NQF 4 qualification
- National Senior Certificate in Finance/Business Management or relevant qualification
- FAIS Compliance Requirements
- Regulatory examination (RE) 5
- Driver’s license and own transport (desirable)
Duties & Responsibilities
Internal Process
- Engage with prospective clients to highlight features and benefits of products based on their financial wellness needs, supporting their decision-making process.
- Sell products aligned with clients’ financial needs by conducting affordability analysis to meet their financial goals.
- Advise on tax and legal implications of products or changes.
- Accurately capture client information, actions, and sales on systems.
- Complete administrative and reporting requirements within set timeframes.
- Achieve targets related to production, quality, and conversion rates.
- Adhere to legislative compliance requirements during the sales process.
- Provide financial advice aligned with engagement strategies to enhance clients’ financial wellness.
Client
- Investigate client queries within the agreed service levels and ensure timely feedback.
- Escalate queries to relevant departments or stakeholders.
- Provide accurate information and advice to ensure clients receive appropriate services.
- Report on service delivery against SLAs and customer targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment.
