Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor with a specialization in Insurance to join our Upington practice. You will deliver comprehensive financial planning services, focusing on identifying clients' insurance needs and securing protection strategies, building trusted relationships, and guiding clients toward financial security in the Northern Cape region.

You will conduct needs analyses, develop plans incorporating life, disability, and health insurance, and educate clients on risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Proven experience as Financial Advisor.
• Licenses such as RE5 and FAIS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services, focusing on helping clients identify their insurance needs and secure appropriate protection strategies. This role involves building trusted relationships, understanding client goals, and delivering tailored financial advice to ensure their security and prosperity within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial needs analyses with clients to understand their goals and risk tolerance.
• Develop personalized financial plans that incorporate insurance solutions (life, disability, health, etc.).
• Recommend and facilitate the sale of suitable insurance products from a range of providers.
• Educate clients on financial concepts and the importance of risk management.
• Stay updated on financial markets, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
• Provide ongoing review and support for clients' financial and insurance portfolios.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business).
• Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar client-facing financial role.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain required regulatory licenses (e.g., RE5, FAIS).
• Strong understanding of financial planning principles and various insurance products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships in Upington .
