Role Purpose: Attract, acquire and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business and to provide after-sales service to clients to ensure client retention, increase market share and contribute to the overall business objectives and its long-term viability.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent NQF 4 qualification
- 2 years’ experience in a sales and/or customer service role
- 2 years’ experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry rendering financial advice (advantageous)
- Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements
- Finance or Business related tertiary qualification (desirable)
- Driver’s license and own transport (desirable)
Duties & Responsibilities
- INTERNAL PROCESS: Engage with prospective clients to highlight features and benefits of various products based on financial wellness needs to support decision-making; sell products in line with client’s financial needs by conducting affordability analysis; advise on tax and legal implications; accurately capture client information, actions and sales in systems; complete administrative and reporting requirements within agreed timeframes; achieve targets on production, quality and conversion; adhere to compliance requirements in the sales process; provide financial advice in line with the engagement strategy to enhance client’s financial wellness.
- CLIENT: Investigate client queries within agreed service levels and ensure timely feedback; escalate queries to relevant departments; provide accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders; provide regular reports on service delivery against SLAs and client targets; build and maintain client relationships; make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment; contribute to a culture of exceptional client service; proactively present products through professional and credible Financial Advisory services.
- PEOPLE: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers and stakeholders; influence and participate in change initiatives; continuously develop professional and legislative knowledge; contribute to continuous innovation; take ownership of career development.
- FINANCE: Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and operational efficiency; manage financial and other company resources; contribute to risk identification and communicate recommendations.
