Role Purpose: To attract, acquire, and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business, providing after-sales service to ensure client retention, increasing market share, and contributing to the company's long-term viability.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric or equivalent NQF 4 qualification
  2. At least 2 years' experience in sales and/or customer service roles
  3. Experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry providing financial advice (advantageous)
  4. Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements
  5. Finance or Business-related tertiary qualification (desirable)
  6. Driver's license and own transport (desirable)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Internal Process: Engage prospective clients to highlight features and benefits of various products based on their financial needs, supporting their decision-making process.
  • Sell products aligned with client needs through affordability analysis to meet their financial goals.
  • Advise on tax and legal implications of products or changes.
  • Accurately record client information, actions, and sales in the system.
  • Complete administrative and reporting requirements timely.
  • Achieve targets on production, quality, and conversion.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements in the sales process as per legislative standards.
  • Provide financial advice to enhance clients' financial wellness.

Client Service: Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Offer accurate advice and participate in continuous improvement of client service.

People Development: Build collaborative relationships, participate in change initiatives, and continuously develop professional expertise.

Financial Management: Seek solutions to improve cost efficiency, manage resources responsibly, and contribute to risk management processes.
