Job summary

Absa Swellendam is seeking a Financial Adviser specializing in Everyday Banking (FAIS) to build trusted client relationships and deliver compliant, client-centric financial solutions.

You will follow FAIS-regulated processes, prepare formal recommendations with quotes, and support ongoing reviews to ensure suitability of investments and insurance products for local clients. This is a full-time role based in Swellendam, Western Cape, SA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years in financial planning/advice in long-term insurance and investments with FAIS credits and RE5 certification.
• Follow the six steps of financial planning to execute the role as a FAIS licensed adviser.
• Must be introduced professionally to clients and address identified needs.
• Regular reviews to ensure ongoing fit and proper status for Absa advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Generate and discuss formal recommendations with product quotes for clients.
• On acceptance of advice, complete documentation and implement parts of the recommendations.
