Job summary

SanlamConnect in Pietermaritzburg seeks a seasoned manager to coach and develop a portfolio of newly appointed financial advisers through their first 24 months, ensuring retention, competence and rapid productivity.

You will supervise activity and performance, upskill advisers on products, systems and FAIS compliance, and recruit advisers for key accounts, driving growth and excellence within the team.

Qualifications

• Matric and a Wealth Management/Financial Planning qualification are required or strongly preferred.
• CFP would be an advantage.
• Management/Coaching Diploma would be advantageous.
• Marketing & Sales experience in financial services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct coaching, vesting, developing, supervising and performance managing a portfolio of newly appointed financial advisers for 24 months.
• Ensure advisers are retained, competent and productive during vesting.
• Oversee activity, productivity and performance management of advisers.
• Up-skill advisers on products, technical knowledge, systems and compliance.
