Job Summary

To identify the long term (life) risk and give advice to clients on their life assurance needs using the limited architecture framework. To provide solutions for the client's long term insurance and financial planning needs by regularly reviewing the client's portfolio in order to build a sustainable broker practice.

Job Description

1. Stakeholder Management: Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners, and other Absa entities.
2. Sales Target: Proactively make self-initiated contact with customers in order to deliver against the required sales targets.
3. Customer Engagement: Do activity planning by identifying the clients to be contacted during a particular period.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.
5. Manage Own Broker Practice: Ensure that staff members (Broker Assistants and Interns as relevant) have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the practice.

Education

Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
