ZPMC ENGINEERING AFRICA (PTY) LTD is hiring! We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team.

Position: FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR / BOOKKEEPER

ZPMC ENGINEERING AFRICA offers a contract position for a Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage debtors: issue customer invoices, send monthly statements, record receipts in the accounting system on time.
  • Manage creditors: process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, prepare monthly payment schedules, load and record payments in the accounting system on time.
  • Process daily cash books and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Handle local and foreign customer and supplier information, keeping data updated in the system.
  • Coordinate with banks for general inquiries and communications.
  • Create and maintain organized filing records; collaborate with auditors during annual audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Education:

  • Associate diploma or degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an accounting department as a financial administrator or bookkeeper.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with accounting software Sage Pastel Partner.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet banking.

Package & Remuneration:

Duration: 1-year contract, renewable after a 3-month probation period, subject to performance.

Salary: Negotiable, based on skills and qualifications.
