Job summary

Mediclinic is a leading international private healthcare group focused on specialist‑oriented, multidisciplinary care. This role manages the financial department, overseeing revenue, expenses and the performance of support services across hospitals.

Essentially you will drive financial strategy, budgeting, cost control and risk management while leading a team of professionals within a hospital environment. Strong SAP/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• > ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Degree or equivalent qualification in financial, business or accounting.
• > DESIRED EDUCATION: Financial management degree/ diploma
• > ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years of financial experience.
• > DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• > 5 years of financial administration manager experience within the hospital/healthcare industry.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To manage the financial department and all related processes to ensure effective management of hospital revenue and expenses. Oversee the quality of outcomes of the different supportive services departments.

Required Education

• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
• 5 years of financial administration manager experience within the hospital/healthcare industry.

• Financial and cost management (financial statement interpretation, budgeting and financial planning, cost analysis, Return on Investment, etc.)
