Are you a skilled Financial Accountant with a passion for precise reporting and insightful analysis? Our client is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in Pretoria and help drive financial excellence within our Transactional Banking Business.

As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. You'll also support decision-making with insightful analysis and help maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Duties:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (IFRS / GAAP).
• Conduct variance analysis and present findings to management.
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts for our Transactional Banking segment.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Drive process improvements in reporting and controls.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom in Accounting
• BCom Honours

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles
• 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting
• Strong general ledger reporting and audit background
• Proficient in Sage Evolution and advanced Excel
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter who can meet tight deadlines independently
