We're seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst / Financial Accountant to optimize financial processes and contribute to our growth. Your Role:

1. Manage and optimize financial processes across multiple African markets and platforms.
2. Execute and oversee payments, perform reconciliations, and validate financial data.
3. Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling using Excel/Google Sheets.
4. Assist with tax submissions (VAT, withholding tax, duties) and manage cash flow.
5. Contribute to audit preparation, compliance, and internal control processes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and financial workflows.
7. Design and automate financial processes using SQL, Python, and low-code platforms.

What You’ll Need:

1. Degree or qualification in Accounting, Management Accounting, or Finance.
2. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with SQL, Python, or data manipulation is advantageous).
4. Experience with tax, accounting, or treasury processes.
5. Comfortable working with new technologies and evolving systems.
6. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across geographies.

USD Denominated Salary: Receive a salary set in USD, converted to ZAR on payment date, paid into a South African account, post PAYE.

Performance-Based Bonus: Earn an annual cash bonus based on company and personal performance (0-60% of annual base).

ESOP Opportunity: Participate in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after 12 months, based on personal performance.
