Job Description
A growing beverage business with international operations is hiring a highly capable Financial Accountant to manage the finance function across multiple international entities within an exciting and growing beverage business. This is an opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with global reach.

This dynamic position involves hands-on financial management and oversight across three distinct entities in South Africa, the USA, and the UK. You'll be someone who thrives on variety, international exposure, and contributing to the growth and structure of an ambitious brand.

Key Responsibilities

Local (SA) Operations: Responsible for accounts payable, receivables, and purchase orders; fixed asset and inventory reconciliation; VAT submissions and audit support; trade financing reporting; and support for the implementation of transfer pricing protocols.

US Operations (via outsourced provider): Oversee monthly accounting entries and management accounts; manage inventory and trade finance reporting; coordinate credit insurance and debt collection processes; and lead budgeting and supplier payment oversight.

UK Operations: Take full responsibility for bookkeeping; handle monthly journals, VAT support, and debt collection; draft management accounts and budgets; and consolidate UK and US entities for reporting.

Requirements

• A relevant Finance or Accounting Degree or Diploma
• Competent and practical working experience with Xero software
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME environment.
• Strong knowledge of VAT and tax legislation (both local and international) is essential
• Experience in foreign currency and inter-company transactions.
