R 750000 - R 850000 Annually Cost To Company (Negotiable)

Our client is seeking a financial accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with 3-5 years post-articles experience
  • Good understanding of IFRS, preparation of financial statements, VAT and income tax legislation
  • Demonstrates capacity to understand business and related impact on the finance function
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Word)
  • Demonstrate efficiency in ERP Systems - SAP
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Comprehension of full debtors, creditors and bookkeeping functions

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements
  • Calculate Income Tax and Reposition Tax Accounts
  • Ensure that the Company complies with all prevailing SARS and other statutory legislation, reporting and payment deadlines
  • Prepare and calculate general ledger entries, accruals and provisions
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist A2R Head in monthly SOLAR reporting
  • Assist in coordinating the Audit process in order to ensure that all deliverables are prepared accurately and that all deadlines are adhered to
  • Sales and Inventory reporting
  • Assisting with any other Adhoc requests, projects and responsibilities that may arise
