Job Purpose

Responsible for executing financial procedures connected with the OTC business of accounts, financial analysis, financial reporting, monitoring and enforcement of good governance and risk management procedure. This position will report to the Financial Manager.

Requirements

1. Minimum of a BCom Accounting is non – Negotiable
2. Qualified CA (SA)
3. 1-2 years’ post qualification experience
4. Must have experience in either ORACLE / SAP / SQL SERVER
5. Hyperion system advantages
6. Work experience in a Finance Department would be an advantage.

Duties

1. General Ledger and Accounting support including:
2. Monthly account reconciliation responsibility
3. Ensuring the speedy resolution of open and/or risk items
4. Review assets register for completeness and accuracy
5. Detailed expense review and analysis
6. Assist in the analysis and management of working capital
7. Assist in the enforcement and tracking of the FOREX hedging policy
8. Review transactions / journals for processing
9. Assist Financial Manager in compiling data for operational finance dashboards including cash flow statements, working capital balance monitoring and other key operational finance metrics.
