I am seeking a competent and experienced Finance Accountant to join my clients well-established team in PE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Oversee inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain audit files and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Process and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Utilize accounting software (Pastel, ZOHO, or similar) for data processing and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
  • BCom Accounting degree (required).
  • SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA registered or Qualified CA (advantageous).
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Accountant.
  • Practical experience with inter-company transactions and audit file preparation.
  • Proficient in Pastel; experience with other accounting software (e.g., ZOHO) advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment.
