Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO: Financial Accountant (POS)
Location: Centurion
Salary: R 30,000 to R 35,000 per month

Requirements:

1. Matric
2. National Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting
3. 3 to 5 years' Accounting Experience
4. Computer Literate in MS Office Suites and Sage Evolution and Sage Pastel Payroll (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Responsibilities:

1. Management of Debtors Clerk
2. Daily capturing and updating of bank reconciliation
3. Weekly petty cash reconciliation, including transfers from branches and cash up from debtors clerk
4. Strict control of blocking and unblocking of debtors accounts & recons
5. Oversee debtor credit applications and adherence to CGIC rules
6. Checking of all invoices and credit notes
7. Loading creditor payments – Monthly & COD including branches
8. Monthly creditor reconciliations including all expenses
9. Report and manage creditor & debtor age analyses weekly
10. Management of ALL tax payments due & strictly paid on time
11. Assisting with annual financial statements / Journals
12. Accurate compilation and reporting of monthly financial report
13. Complete ownership of monthly HR / Payroll / Salary Payments
