A leading company in the financial sector seeks a dedicated Financial Accountant to oversee financial reporting, manage accounts, and provide strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of financial regulations and software, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Main Job Purpose: The responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include ensuring the accurate execution of the company's accounting and financial activities.
Analyze the company's economic stability and provide financial information to support operational, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
The Financial Accountant is also responsible for reporting on costs, productivity, profit margins, and overall Group performance.

Minimum requirements: Grade 12; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' relevant experience in a financial accounting role or financial management experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE Evolution) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Familiarity with audit practices and principles.
Required competencies include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and being ethical, trustworthy, and results-driven.
Essential duties and responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, managing accounts, preparing management accounts, analyzing financial performance, managing banking and cash flow, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, liaising with auditors, maintaining financial controls, managing projects and assets, supporting group financial activities, supervising staff, and providing ad hoc financial support.
All duties are performed in accordance with client requirements, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other applicable legislation.
