Job summary

Parvana is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect in Cape Town to drive enterprise architecture and cloud-based transformations. You will design robust integration patterns, lead architecture governance, and collaborate with Finance and Security teams to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in IT architecture, strong experience with Azure, TOGAF/ArchiMate, and a proven ability to translate complex concepts into business language.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT solution architecture experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with TOGAF or ArchiMate within governance frameworks.
• Strong security, risk, and regulatory compliance understanding in financial contexts.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current ('as-is') business operations and application landscapes.
• Develop architecture elements aligned with enterprise strategy and Finance transformation objectives.
• Design integration patterns to ensure seamless connectivity with upstream and downstream systems.
• Produce artifacts conforming to enterprise architecture principles and reference architectures.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Security and Data teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Define strategies for data architecture, migration, and governance.
