Job summary

The Apex Group in Cape Town seeks a Manager in the Business Services division to lead financial reporting for portfolios and to mentor the local team. You will drive NAVs, statutory reporting, and management reporting while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

The role emphasizes process improvements and client service excellence. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with auditors, and contribute to strategic growth of the Cape Town office and private debt team.

Qualifications

• CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Ideally 3–4 years' experience in a finance role.
• Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regimes (IFRS).

Responsibilities

• Co-lead development of Cape Town teams and manage day-to-day financial reporting for client portfolios.
• Coordinate NAVs, Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with auditors and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Develop and implement procedures for reporting and client structures.
