Finance & Office Administrator / Bookkeeper - Maitland, Cape Town Salary R25,000

A well-established company is seeking an experienced Finance and Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to manage a wide range of accounting and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-function bookkeeping support using Pastel Accounting and payroll systems
  • Manage supplier and customer accounts, including credit control and invoice processing
  • Oversee petty cash, VAT reports, fixed asset register, and depreciation/interest calculations
  • Provide administrative support to management, including meeting coordination, travel bookings, and staff record management
  • Process weekly wages, monthly payments, and employee leave
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems
  • Assist with stock control, logistics bookings, and vehicle maintenance records
  • Support internal and external audits with precise reporting and documentation

Systems Proficiency Required:

  • Pastel
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Payroll and Time Log systems

Ideal Candidate:
