Job description

Purpose : The incumbent will be responsible for ownership of statutory, technical, and controls processes, as well as business development financial support.

Key duties & responsibilities:
  1. Tax Audit management (internal, external, BBEEE)
  2. Group reporting (Tagetik) and reconciliations
  3. Preparation of group reporting pack
  4. Management of intangible assets and fixed assets
  5. Capex controls and process optimisation
  6. Support for new business development, including P&L analysis and contract optimisation
  7. Compliance with IFRS 16
  8. Stock adjustments
  9. Handling ad hoc projects as required
  10. Timely completion of all annual Integrity & Compliance trainings and declarations (Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct, ABAB Awareness, Data Protection)
  11. Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events, and Medical Enquiries to the relevant departments in Quality Assurance / Pharmacovigilance / Medical Affairs

  • Qualification: CA(SA)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years post-articles experience
  • Strong IFRS knowledge, financial modelling, and excellent Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI and Business Central is advantageous
