Hours: Mon – Fri | 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
Start: Immediate / Urgent
Team: 2–3 Finance Staff
Reports To:
• Operational: Head of School
• Functional: Group Finance Manager
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team in Parklands, Cape Town. The role is to manage the full financial function of the institution, including payroll, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and cash flow, while providing strategic support and leading a small finance team.


Key Duties:

  • Manage daily financial operations (payroll, VAT, PAYE, reconciliations)
  • Prepare budgets, reports, and cash flow forecasts
  • Ensure statutory compliance
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team
  • Liaise with Head of School (operations) and Group Finance Manager (strategy)
  • Maintain financial governance and controls
  • Use systems: EdAdmin (preferred), Sage, banking platforms
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Accounting (CA(SA) not required)

  • Experience:

  • 3–5 years in a financial management role
  • Strong in payroll, compliance, budgeting, cash flow, general ledger
  • Team leadership experience (2–3 staff)
Skills:
  • EdAdmin (advantageous)
