Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking a Finance Manager to join their innovative IT company based in Cape Town. The financial manager will oversee a team of accountants and clerks, managing daily accounting processes and responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

As a Financial Manager, you will provide high-quality financial and business reports and analysis to assist executives in making key decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing for the finance team.
• Review monthly reconciliations.
• Manage treasury functions.
• Complete month-end processes, including journal preparations.
• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate annual audits and financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis.
• Implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Matric certificate; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• SAIPA or CIMA qualification advantageous.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with SAGE and Pastel Partner.
• Ability to develop financial and operational models.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new concepts and participate in projects.
• A passion for numbers, good teamwork, proactive in managing workload impacts, and positive attitude.
• Flexible and able to work collaboratively within a team.

Benefits
