Are you a seasoned Finance Manager looking for a high-impact interim or contract role within a dynamic, listed investment firm? We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven finance professional to provide leadership, financial oversight, and strategic guidance to our client’s finance team.

About the Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Group CFO and oversee a team of accountants.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, compliance, and reporting, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily financial operations, including investment accounting, banking, invoicing, and ledger maintenance.
Supervise and direct a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly management reports, financial statements, and tax calculations.
Ensure statutory compliance with IFRS, South African Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and regulatory requirements.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial planning.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities (SARS), and regulatory bodies.
Implement and maintain best-in-class financial policies, systems, and controls.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified CA(SA) with 6 – 8 years of relevant experience.
Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and compliance.
Proficiency in SAGE X3, SAGE Intacct, SAGE Evolution, CaseWare, Hyperion, OneStream (or similar systems).
Experience in a group structure environment, preferably within financial services, investments, or related industries.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
