About the Role

You will be a manager in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of a country, category, Supply Chain, or FP&A. You will support the Senior Manager or Director in data collection, preparing business proposals, verifying assumptions, checking daily execution, supporting the delivery of objectives, and ensuring the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You may also have a direct report or manage third-party resources.

How You Will Contribute

You will:

  1. Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management, including strategic planning, forecasting, target development, financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and decision support within a specific scope.
  2. Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment, adhering to policies.
  3. Assist in preparing critical financial data and insights to inform business strategies and decisions.
  4. Lead projects to improve efficiencies and foster continuous improvement.
  5. Contribute to a high-performing Finance team, investing in personal and peer development, and driving the finance talent agenda, focusing on local FP&A pipeline.
What You Will Bring

Experience and Knowledge in:

  1. Financial planning and performance management, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and cost management.
  2. Business acumen, understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry, and local market dynamics.

Additional Responsibilities

This role covers the Gum, Candy, Meals category and involves:

  1. Ensuring compliance within the category.
  2. Managing month-end P&L reporting, including commentary.
  3. Managing budgets and actuals, acting as a business partner to the marketing team.
  4. Performing financial modeling for pricing and share forecasting.
  5. Supporting SKU rationalization and regional submissions.
  6. Supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  7. Supporting the Finance Director and Managing Director as needed.
Position Requirements
  • People leadership experience is advantageous.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Category or Commercial Finance.
  • Experience in FMCG/CPG industry is preferred.
  • Proven P&L management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder influencing and business partnering skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related, with CIMA/ACCA certification.
