Lead Strategic Financial Operations Across Construction, Mining, Plant Hire, and Property Divisions

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our Group Office based in Pinetown, Durban. In this leadership role, you will oversee the financial health, investment strategy, risk management, and operational finance of four fast-growing divisions: Plant Hire, Property Development, Construction, and Mining.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and group consolidations.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, tax compliance, and risk assessments.
  • Develop investment strategies and oversee portfolio management.
  • Design internal controls, financial systems, and incentive structures to drive performance.
  • Engage with senior leadership and lead finance and admin teams across the group.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related fields (Postgrad advantageous).
  • CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or CPA qualification preferred.
  • 15–20 years of finance experience, with at least 10 years at senior leadership level.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS, tax compliance, financial consolidation, and strategic planning.
  • Proven experience working across multi-division or multi-sector environments.
