Job summary

The People Connection (PTY) Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to take full financial control of two divisions in a manufacturing environment, reporting to the General Managers and aligning costing across two different systems.

The role requires a BCom degree, CIMA or similar, at least 5 years in manufacturing finance, strong costing knowledge, ERP experience, and a proactive, confident problem-solver ready to lead financial processes.

Qualifications

BCom degree is essential.
CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification is required.
Minimum of 5 years as Financial Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and standard costing.
Experience with ERP systems is essential.
Proven problem-solving ability and a confident, proactive personality.

Responsibilities

Take full financial control of two divisions within the group.
Provide financial support to the General Managers.
Work across two businesses using different costing systems.
Manage the different applications of standard costing.
Work with complex manufacturing job costing.
Investigate costing and financial issues to identify root causes.
Support the resolution of financial and costing problems across the two divisions.
