Job description

A position for a Finance Manager exists at Fidelity Cleaning Services. The overall purpose of this position is to support the CFO FADT and the Executive of Cleaning, overseeing finance functions. The role’s key focus is to ensure the full management of the Finance Department and compliance with all group policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies Required:
  • BCom Degree in Accounting
  • 5-8 years’ experience as a Senior Finance Manager
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel
  • Cleaning industry experience (advantageous)
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Stock Management skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Planning & Budgeting skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong administration, interpersonal, and customer liaison skills
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Clear criminal record
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  1. Oversee and review all accounting functions within the designated area
  2. Drive achievement of financial targets
  3. Maintain general accounting, cost accounting, payables, and receivables
  4. Consolidate, analyze, and report on financial performance; implement corrective actions
  5. Develop and improve control frameworks for accurate reporting and risk management
  6. Prepare monthly reporting packs
  7. Ensure proper balance sheet structuring
  8. Prepare subsidiary annual financial statements
  9. Prepare quarterly CEO reports
  10. Handle adhoc requirements, including benchmarking for business planning
  11. Manage monthly journals and reporting processes
  12. Perform profitability analysis monthly
  13. Manage open POs and payroll procedures
  14. Ensure adherence to cost controls and budgets
  15. Manage expense limits and cost-saving initiatives
  16. Ensure stock procedures and controls are followed
