FINANCIAL MANAGER (CA(SA) / ACCA / CIMA)

Location : Centurion

Salary : R1.1m – R1.3m CTC per annum

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor income from bank interest and investments.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitor monthly financial performance.
  • Review and approve reports for management and auditors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, accounts, and payments.
  • Prepare documents and support during audits.
  • Participate in procurement activities.
  • Manage the company’s home loan system.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the finance team.

Key Areas of Focus:

1. Fund Sustainability
  • Oversee income from trust interest and investments.
  • Collaborate with the Interest Collection Manager on controls.
  • Approve monthly entries, monitor bank payments, analyze trends.
  • Reconcile investment reports with accounting records.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting.
  • Present financial reports to executives.
  • Provide insights to support business performance.
3. Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Ensure timely month-end, forecast, and audit reports.
  • Review tax submissions and account entries.
  • Oversee the chart of accounts and supervise the finance team.
4. Audit Management
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Prepare audit documentation and assist with financial statements.
5. Compliance & Governance
  • Maintain adherence to policies and participate in committees.
6. Procurement Oversight
  • Participate in procurement decisions and review supplier performance.
7. Housing Loan Scheme
  • Manage home loan processes and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or related field.
  • CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is highly advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance.
  • Experience managing a team.
