JOB TITLE: Financial Manager

LOCATION: Remote based in Cape Town, travelling required

Brief Description:

An exciting career opportunity has opened up for a Financial Manager! A UK-based company is seeking an individual to oversee the financial operations of two farms situated in South Africa. This position offers the opportunity to work in an international setting, gaining valuable experience while managing the financial aspects of a growing agricultural enterprise.

Job Description:

Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:

• Ability to create budget projections for revenue and costs
• Proficient in preparing regular financial and operational reports for management and external auditors
• Knowledge of tax matters related to property, including VAT and international tax implications
• Experience with company secretarial duties required
• Strong proficiency in digital accounting software and financial modeling methods
• Opportunity for growth into a senior leadership position, such as Finance Director

Skills & Experience:

• SAICA/ACCA articles completed
• 4-6 years of post-article experience in a food processing space or farming (Non-negotiable)

Qualification:

• Degree and honours
• SAICA/ACCA registrations
