Now Hiring: Financial Manager | Cape Town | Permanent Role

Salary: R1,2 - R1,4mil

Location: Cape Town, Foreshore

Are you a qualified CA(SA) with a passion for driving strategic finance in a high-performance environment? We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Manager to take full ownership of the accounting function for a dynamic division within a leading FMCG group.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end finance function including general ledger, fixed assets, creditors, tax, and compliance reporting.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and regulatory standards.
• Manage statutory returns (VAT, tax), audit packs, and respond to findings.
• Drive robust cash flow forecasting and solvency analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and governance processes.
• Provide oversight on BBBEE and insurance processes, including audits and reporting.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, driving performance and development.
• Present detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and KPIs to leadership.

What You’ll Need:

• CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
• At least 8 years’ experience as a Financial Manager within a JSE-listed or complex corporate environment
• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, tax, and VAT
• Financial consolidation experience
• SAP (FI, CO, MM, SD) and advanced Excel skills highly advantageous
